Death brigade

Hubby called me today to express how his drive to Nana day care had taken longer than expected! He was sat in traffic longing for his Starbucks! Right opposite the turn to the drive through there were numerous emergency vehicles. Although he did not witness the accident itself, he did have to witness the emergency team stop trying to save the victim and cover her with a sheet. Hubby was grumpy about having to wait so long in the traffic jam when craving his Americano, but he would have gladly waited twice as long if they could have saved her! How different some of us are! While he tried to process the tragedy he could not help but notice a small group had gathered. Not emergency services, not media, regular citizens all armed with their phone cameras! Seriously what on earth could they be thinking? Where is the humanity? What if that was their daughter, mother, sister, aunt? Would they want some stranger taking snap shots of heir final moments? I seriously doubt it! We are thinking of the lady who lost her life and her family whoever they may be.

Hugs to your hubs. The vultures with the phones need a reality check.

The world is full of sick people. How many photos ended on Facebook or videos on youtube. That to me should be considered an offence by law.
Having almost been witness to a horrible accident only last week I hope your hubby is doing ok. Certainly death in any form, makes you think.
